Why We Started
AK Towing was founded in 2017 by a family of Tampa locals tired of seeing neighbors stranded for 90+ minutes waiting on a tow truck that should have taken 20. We knew the city, we knew the roads, and we knew we could do it better than the big national dispatch services subcontracting work to whoever was closest at any given moment.
So we built a real local fleet. Real local drivers. Real local dispatch. Same family running it today.
